Wummle
Celebrating everything that is good about French cheese, Wummle is our Scottish version
of a soft, sumptuous, creamy mould ripened cheese with a distinctive character. The name,
incidentally, is a Doric word meaning `to turn’ which we regularly do with our cheeses
while maturing to ensure even ripening and balanced flavour.
Wummles come in two sizes Muckle Wummle and Wee Wummle! Muckle Wummle is a big beastie
weighing in at approximately 1Kg. Wee Wummles at approximately 300gms are an ideal size
for your cheese boards and picnic boxes.
