The Craigmyle Cheese Company is our artisan cheese making business nestled in the heart
of Royal Deeside in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. We make beautiful cheeses using traditional,
hand-made methods with the highest quality, unpasteurised milk which we source from one
local organic dairy.
The milk that makes our cheese so unique comes from Glasgoforest, an organic farm at
Kinellar run by Anne Willis and her son William
, winner of RABDF/Barclays Bank student of the year 2006 and Scottish winners of the
national grassland management competition 2005. The Willis’ herd is mainly
Holstein/Friesian with a few Ayrshires. The Willis family are focused on the
wellbeing of their herd - the cows enjoy a stress-free, comfortable environment.
Contented cows mean good milk. Good milk is the first step towards great cheese.
